A hot stone massage is a specialty massage using smooth, heated stones. The stones are either used as an extension of the masseuses' own hands or by placing them on the body while other parts of the body are being massaged. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work deeper and quicker.
